The Ritz-Carleton Marina Del Ray knows the meaning of customer service

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of visiting The Ritz-Carleton in Marina Del Ray, just outside of Los Angeles, for a lunch meeting with Mary Gostelow of WOW.travel.
From the moment we arrived, we experienced probably some of the best hospitality I have ever witnessed. Believe me, thats a pretty bold statement, coming from somebody as critical as I am.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful… a nice open foyer that leads right to a luxurious lounge area just beyond the reception and an adjoining restaurant. But the best part of the view is the open patio area straight in the back which faces the marina filled with beautiful boats (and a few yachts).
During our lunch we were assisted by 4 different people and while this may sound a little like overkill… it was the perfect blend of sincere consideration and attention to detail. Everything went smooth as silk… bread arrived seamlessly, the water in our glass was always full, as if magically refilling every time I took a sip. I hardly noticed anybody was even serving us… thats how good the service was!
Kudos to the management and staff at The Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Ray… what a class act.
