What kind of service do you expect?

Down Jump to Comments

As sad as it may sound… a lot of us expect mediocre service. It’s like we’ve been conditioned by the places that we frequent.

  • slow service
  • cold food
  • lazy staff
  • pushy sales people
  • rude or busy sales clerks

We’ve all seen this and yet we still buy from them. Oh sure, we may comment about it to our fellow shopper or muster something under our breath… but for the most part, we just go on.

Imagine a world where we complained… I don’t mean whine and be a pain in the butt, I mean actually tell the person how you feel, or ask to speak to the manager and see how they respond.

After all, if your business is important to them, should they not show it? Are there not other stores or restaurants that you could go to? Other companies that you could buy from? Remember, they need your money and why should you just give it away… they should earn it.

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of a good shopping experience, don’t you wonder why you don’t always get such an experience each time you shop? After all, you should.
